Richard Kenneth “Rich” Bachmann, 60, of Cordova, TN passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 3, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, was a graduate from the University of Kentucky and was Vice President of Operations with L & E Management (Perkins Restaurant). Rich was also an avid golfer, Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds fan and a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Bachmann; and survived by his loving wife, Lowrie Bachmann; daughter, Megan Evans (Grant) of Lakeland, TN; son, Zachary Bachmann of Cordova, TN; mother, Margaret Bachmann of Cincinnati, OH; siblings, Sandy Thomas (Mark) of Brandon, FL, Todd Bachmann (Tracey) of Kings Mills, OH and Craig Bachmann of Cincinnati, OH; nieces and nephews, Shelby and Lainey Bachmann, A.J. and Allie Walker. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House-Collierville, TN.
