Richard Lee Collins, Sr., 53, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away at his home on June 26, 2016. Mr. Collins was a fan of music who loved playing guitar, enjoyed landscaping, and working on small engines. He was predeceased by his father, William E. Collins, Jr., his brother, Tommy Collins, and his sister, Linda Poole. Mr. Collins is survived by his mother, Peggy V. Collins, his son, Richard Lee Collins, Jr., his brothers, William E. Collins III and Robert Collins, his grandson, Tyler Lee Collins, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 from nine o’clock until service time at ten o’clock at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
