Richard Francis Kriz, Sr., AFSC, 84, of Bartlett, TN. passed away May 13, 2012 at the St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until time of service at 12 Noon. Tuesday, May 15th at Church of the Nativity in Bartlett. Burial in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3700 North Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. Mr. Kriz was a U.S. Navy veteran;an affiliate Christian Brother; a member of Church of the nativity; and retired as Treasurer of Christian Brothers University, after more than 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Kriz: brothers: Freddy, Jr. and Theodore J. Kriz: and sister, Ludmila M. Baloree. Mr. Kriz is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lynette Kriz of Bartlett, TN: daughter, Catherine Kriz Barrom of Olive Branch, MS: son, Richard F. Kriz, Jr. of Memphis, TN: Eleven Grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorials may be sent to Christian Brothers University or Church of the Nativity
