Robbie Mayfield, 90, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. She was a member of West Frayser Baptist Church. Mrs. Mayfield, the widow of James F. Mayfield is survived by two daughters, Frances Ann (James) Anderson of Lakeland and Linda (Glen) Bandy of Bartlett; a son, Donald (Martha) Mayfield of Bartlett; ten grandchildren, Jimmy, Bobby, Shannon, Richard, Eva, Emily, Charles Richard, Angela, Grace and Jonathan; and eleven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Thomas and Charles Richard Mayfield; one sister; and three brothers. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 27 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of Mrs. Mayfield’s life will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 28 at the funeral home with interment in Memphis National Cemetery.
