Ryan Christopher Brooks

Ryan Christopher Brooks, 20, of Panama City Beach formerly of Southaven, MS passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. Ryan was born October 5, 1993 in Memphis, Tennessee. Ryan was a loving happy person who always had a smile on his face. He always tried to make people laugh. It is well known that he truly loved his family. He enjoyed the beach, playing basketball, was a member of the football, baseball and track team at Desoto Central High School. He also loved the Memphis Grizzlies, the University of Memphis Tigers, the Cardinals, the Yankees and the Green Bay Packers. He loved to also sing and dance. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James J. and Peggy McDonald; great grandfather, Hilary Cook; great grandmother, Verbal Selph; his uncles, Terry McDonald and William Travis Pannell, III. He is survived by his mother, Amy J. McDonald, father, Bryant Brooks and his wife, Leslie, sisters and brothers, Mallory Rosetti (Scott), Garrett Brooks (Caristy), Hunter Brooks, Justin Clark, Robert Clark , Jr., Elyse Gordon, grandparents, Larry and Nancy Brooks, Sandra and Travis Pannell and Michael Griffith and Belinda Marcapura, great-grandmother, Christine Blackburn step-father, Robert Clark, aunts and uncles, Kim Bedrossian (Pascal), James J. McDonald, Jr., Caton Brooks (Diane) and Susan Jones (Dick), nephews, Brayden, Brody and Baylor Nester, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 17, 2014 both at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens with the interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange, Memphis, TN.
