Shawn Dewayne Hall, a beloved husband, father, and friend, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 29, 2024, at the age of 46. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Lisa Hall, and their four cherished children: Chelsea, Conner, Chloe, and Caylee. Shawn was predeceased by his mother, Brenda Hall.
Shawn was born on March 23, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Brenda Hall. He was raised in the Frayser community alongside his older sister, Michelle Moore. Professionally, Shawn was a dedicated conductor for the CN Railroad in Memphis, where he was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment.
Shawn had an extraordinary ability to make friends wherever he went. He never judged others by their appearance, welcoming friendships with people from all walks of life. His incredible work ethic was evident in everything he did; while others might take on one job, Shawn was known to juggle three.
A passionate basketball fan, Shawn followed the Boston Celtics and the Memphis Tigers with enthusiasm. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He never missed a soccer game, dance recital, or school event, and he took immense pride in his children’s achievements. Through his and Lisa's hard work, they provided their children with a life filled with opportunities and love.
Above all, Shawn was a devoted father and husband, whose legacy of love, dedication, and hard work will continue to inspire all who knew him.
