Born May 20th, 1946 to Dean and Ruth Lewis, Sue hails from a farm in Bainbridge, OH. Her siblings Steve, Janet, Jennifer, Mark, and Beth affectionately referred to her as “Susie”. She attended college at John Brown University where she majored in Christian Education and minored in Music. She was married to Charles Lynch on October 13,1973.
Sue worked hard through her life, focusing on small businesses like Moonlighters/Schaeffer Papers and the Daily Grind coffee shop
She had a heart that was overwhelmingly full of love and joy. Sue dedicated herself to Christian ministry, always putting others before herself. Her heart of service is evident in her hard work with ministries like the House of Psalms and the Sunshine Inn. She opened her home and her heart to many who were otherwise dismissed by society. Sue continued to serve by playing the piano and participating in the youth ministries with Maranatha and Grace Bible Church. An immeasurable number of lives were positively influenced by her sacrificing efforts.
Her kind spirit and gracious heart touched many people in her lifetime. Sue’s goofy antics always made her the life of the party and made others feel welcomed and wanted in her company. She donated countless hours and her extensive gifts to her chosen ministries and the impact of her actions cannot be measured.
Sue is survived by her husband Charles Lynch, her daughter Jennifer Yawn, husband Matt Yawn and sons Miles and Parker, as well as her son Matthew Lynch, wife Blair Lynch and their soon to be born baby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mexican Indian Training Center. http://www.mitcenter.org
