Tammy Yevonne Nichols, 43, of Bartlett, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a long time member of East Hill Baptist Church, an alumnus of Creighton College, participant for many years in the Ellendale Little League and Shelby Youth Sports and the Ellendale Booster Club. Mrs. Nichols, the wife of Timothy A. Nichols, Sr. also leaves 2 daughters, Taylor A. Nichols and Melissa Burns; 2 sons, Timothy A. (T.J.) Nichols and Travis A. Nichols, all of Bartlett; a sister, Cynthia Ann Godsey of Haleyville, AL; 2 brothers, William Clayton Griffin and Franklin C. Griffin, both of Memphis and her father, William Clayton Griffin of Haleyville, AL. The family will receive friends Monday evening, August 9 from 7-9 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 10 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
