Terry Lane Jones

Terry Lane Jones, 64, left this earth for his heavenly journey on Monday, October 26, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Terry was born in Aubrey, Arkansas, 2nd child of parents George and Joy Jones (both deceased). Terry attended Kingsbury High School and was retired from MLG&W. He leaves behind his only child, his daughter Teri Lynne Jones Spencer (Curtis), the love of his life his grandson Taylor Lane Spencer, his siblings Larry Wayne Jones (deceased), Peggy Moore (Bill) of Waverly, TN, Betty Turney (David) of Waverly, TN, Nancy Rice (Tim) of Moscow, TN, Cathy Jones Roberts (Robin) of Arlington, TN and Ben-ny Jones of Arlington, TN along with many wonderful nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his ex-wife and friend, Diane Duke White (Ronnie). Terry was blessed throughout his life with having 6 siblings and other members of the Jones family, awesome friends that shared his passion for grilling and competition days of BBQ cooking festivals and amazing neighbors that shared his daily life with him. We all will miss him beyond words but will see him again one day. Terry chose to donate his body to UT Health Science Center. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd with visitation at 9:00am and service at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family request monetary donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN in honor of his grandson Taylor, a St. Jude patient.
