Thomas Mark Bell, of Germantown, TN, passed away on Nov. 17, 2014, at his home from health complications. He was a retired engineer who helped designed many bridges across the nation. He was born in Tupelo, Ark., and raised in Wheatley, Ark. He was an Air Force veteran and husband of 56 years to his surviving wife, Peggy Mullins Bell. Dad leaves two children, Janet Heirigs of Memphis, and Andrew Mark Bell of Olive Branch, MS., and four grandchildren: Lauren Heirigs and Allison Heirigs and Thomas Rhodes Bell and Luke Bell. Dad was devoted to his family and his family greatly adored him. He was a lover of history, especially World War II and trains; he also loved sports, in particularly the Memphis Tigers. He was the last survivor of five brothers, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis. His love of life and dependable commitment to loving and helping his family will not be forgotten - his spirit and influence will be carried on. Visitation will be held on Nov. 20 from 5-7 p.m. and service will be held on Nov 21 at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN
