He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bennett, III.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carole Bennett; his sons, Thomas Bennett, V, John Ray Bennett, Samson Bennett, Brandon Bennett; grandchildren, Allisa Wilson, Amelia Bennett, Joselyn Bennett, Robert Wilson, Rylie Bennett, Hailey Bennett, John Bennett, Jr., Laylah Burgess, Kaelb Burgess, Bailee Burgess, Riley Burgess, Olive Bennett, Mitchell Bennett, Sophie Bennett, Miley Bennett; his mother, Betty Tolcher; sisters, Lisa Logan (Mark), Joan Fitzpatrick; and his brother, Tony Bennett (Linda).

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, February 17th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm.
