Timmy "Tim" Keith Ferrell

Tim was born in Covington, Tennessee, one of 7 children born to the late Louis Elvis Ferrell & Annie Lee Hawk. He attended high school in San Diego CA. where he excelled in surfing and wrestling before returning to graduate from Covington High School. He then earned an associate's degree and entered the electrical field. He retired Vice President of Ellendale Electric after 17 years of service.

Tim was an avid golfer winning numerous tournaments including 5-time club champion at Forrest Hills Golf Course. In addition to golf, he was a long-time supporter of University of Memphis Football and Basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed bowling and traveling to various sporting events.

Along with his parents Tim was also preceded in death by his sister Rita.

Mr. Ferrell's memory is carried on by his devoted wife of 22 years Janet Ferrell, son Michael Strickland (Allison) of Benton AR, Nephew Timothy Harris of Memphis TN, siblings Louis Ferrell (Cathy) of Grapevine TX, Phillip Ferrell (Linda) of Memphis TN, Anita Sherer (Jack) of San Diego CA, Jeff Ferrell (Rhonda) of Memphis, TN, Jaime Erguiza of Bangor Maine and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 16 from 2:00 PM until a memorial service begins at 3:00 PM in the Arlington Suite at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. A reception will follow from the memorial service until 5:00 PM.
