Tim,

We are going to miss you buddy here at Stratas.   You sit right across from our IT group and it was always a pleasure to hear that laugh and your mockery of us telling everyone to "REBOOT" for every situation.  My lasting memory and special memory of you is a few days ago you accidentally sending that 1.3GB file to the printer and me coming over and giving you a hard time and you just gave that Tim laugh.  Rest on in heaven buddy and prayers are sent up for you and your family.

Knowing Tim the last several years at Stratas has been a pleasure.  I would see Tim in the break room or in the hall way and he always greeted everyone with a genuine smile and through those short visits I learned so much about Tim.  Many of the conversation usually led to one of three things……how he loved his vacations/travel time, how proud he was of his family, and how much he loved our Lord.  His smile around the office will be missed by many.  
Although truly saddened by this sudden loss, it has been a pleasure knowing Tim and pray that his family find comfort in Him through this time. 


I had been working with Tim for over 3 years.  Every time I saw Tim walking through the office, he had a smile on his face and nice thing to say.  Whenever the stress of close would set in, he would just smile and roll with anything that came his way.  He will definitely be missed by many and by me.

Tim loved his family and always wanted the best for them.  Over the last few years we have been able to support each other with words of encouragment and have spent many hours on the phone.  Even though we will not be able to attend the service for Tim we will set aside some time today to reflect and pray for the family.  May God Bless each one of you.  Aunt Glenda we love you. I worked with Tim Galyean, side by side for 6 years at Stratas Foods.  He was my best friend there.  We worked and traveled together many times.  Tim knew how to love people, and it was evident in every relationship he had.  He also knew how to take care of the people he loved, and he rejoiced in doing just that every day.  And, he knew how to do it, and do it well even when it was hard.  He once told me, “anyone can love when it’s easy, but to hang in there when it is hard is love’s own truest reward.”
I enjoyed travelling for work with Tim.  On travel days, we would have to start out early.  Both of us being antique buffs, we would have to stop and look at every antique shop on the way to our destination.  And, at work, he always had the best lunches.  Something he or his mom had cooked the night before.  So many times I would look at my paltry lunch, and think, “wow, I need lessons here.”
Tim also shared stories with me on these trips, and I felt like I gained a brother.  He spoke for hours how he would drive from Arkansas down to Mississippi to court his wife Sue.  He spoke of Benjamin’s birth, and his growing up, and some of his toys he was saving for his grandkids.  I would hear on Friday where he and his uncle were going for Saturday breakfast, and I would get a review on Monday.
He adored his mother, and spoke of how loving she was to everybody...guess that is where he got it.
Tim was also pretty tight with the Lord.  I would listen to what he knew, and watch his countenance, and know he was straight on walking right beside Jesus.
Anyway, I am privileged to have not just known him, but to have called him friend.  For he took care of me, and many of my needs when I was very ill.  I am happy that the last time we parted, I got a hug, and as he turned away, I said: “Hey Tim, I love you man.”  To which he replied:  “I love you too.”
And to this, I leave with Thanks to God for my friendship with Tim…And I see his smile, and know he is still just as fine as ever.

I will always remember Tim's smile and laugh as he interacted with others in the department.  He never failed to speak and always had a kind word to share.  Tim was a pleasure to work with and will definitely be missed.  We will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

I have known Tim for a little over six years now but he was always the type of person that would bring a smile to your face.   From the moment that I arrived at Stratas Foods, he was friendly and welcoming.  He was always cheerful and joking around making everyone laugh.  He had an infectious laugh of his own which just made you want to giggle.  He would find someway to lighten the mood in stressful situations.  He was so proud of his son and spoke of him constantly.  It was truly his desire for his son to be happy and pursuing his dreams.  It was obvious that he was the joy of his life.  I personally will miss Tim dearly.  It was routine for me to talk to him each day.  We worked closely together on various things but we shared a common love for family and travel.  We constantly shared stories and advice on those matters.  Each day I would walk past his desk, we would have some form of witty exchange or playful banter about work, our weekend or other things.  Teasing each other was just our way.  My heart is truly saddened by this lost and he will be missed greatly.  
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.  May God grant you the comfort and support you need during this difficult time.
