I'd like to extend my condolences to you and your family. I am very sorry about the loss of your husband. I worked with Todd for a few years at Blodgett Hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Amanda, Joel, Conner, and Grant,

I am so, so sorry for your great loss.  I know that "Papa Pike" was such a special part of your lives.  Amanda, I know how close you were to him and what a wonderful grandfather he was to Conner and Grant.  But his memory will live on in all the wonderful stories you have to tell to the children.  We love you!!

Before Todd and I worked together in our teens, I had the impression that he was a loud-mouthed bully.  Once I got to know him however, I found out that he was a loyal, compassionate, and fun-loving person.  We became fast friends and spent a lot of time together in our youth, including hunting trips to the family cottage, and a lot of other good times.  I wish I had been able to see Todd more as an adult, but I know our friendship never faded for either of us even thought we were out of touch for several years.  When we spoke in recent years, it was like we had never lost contact at all.  Todd, I will miss you and the visits we were not able to have.  Carol, I wish I had the opportunity to meet you, I am sure the three of us would have had a great time.  Katie and Amanda, please know that your dad was a good man and loved you very much.  We never got to meet either, but Todd spoke lovingly about both of you when he and I talked.  I wish I could have been at the visitation yesterday and the service today, but unfortunately I couldn't make it down there.

I know it hurts right now, and it will get easier over time, but you will never forget those special moments with him, and in the future you will smile at the memories of the good times you had with him.

Loud, opinionated, gruff, forceful, wild and crazy on the outside.  Loving, caring, thoughtful, warm and compassionate on the inside.  A loyal friend and confidant.  A man who left us too soon, but whose memory will be with us forever.  May God bless you Todd, and keep your loved ones happy, joyous and free.

My heart goes out to the entire Pike family. I am thankful for the exchanges of ideals and time spent with my dear friend Todd. Working together on SECNAV issues/agenda items has been the highlight of my SECNAV tour. The sea stories that both Todd and I shared were both special & meaningful. Todd was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, and a loving son. His Navy career stands alone & speaks for itself. Todd was a true professional who worked feverishly for the betterment of Retirees and we are all better served because of his effort. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of Todd as we celebrate his life. God Bless my friend Todd Pike you will [never] be forgotten.

Todd was a good man.  I always liked to call him "Tiny Tim" as he played that role in our departmental Christmas theme.  He will be missed.

It is with a sad heart to hear about shipmate Todd's passing. Todd continued a great leacy into retirement assisting other retirees.  I as well as others got to know Todd on the Sec Nav Retiree Council.  His passion for life, his family and others shined through in each of his conversations.  Our condolences to the Pike family know that he was widely respected and thank you for allowing him to serve us. Carol and Family, I want to convey my heart felt sorry for loss of your dearest loved one he was the best. If I can be of any assistance to you and your family please do not hesitate to call me.  On Monday afternoon I learned that my dear friend Todd A. Pike NCCM USN Ret had passed away. This was a major shock to me; Todd was my Instructor, a mentor and a very good friend. We have lost a part of our Navy family, and I have lost a dear friend.  I know that the thousands of sailors that he help during his tenure at the helm are grateful, and the many retirees and their families he has help cherish him as I do. I will never forget the kindness he showed me and the many laughs we had together. To Todd who is watching us from above, thanks and love ya brother. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."  We will see Todd again and he will be like new.

My sincere condolences and may God strengthen and comfort you and your family at this time of loss. I pray during your Memorial Services & Celebration of Todd's Life, that you all will be reminded of the Joy and Happiness shared together with Todd and while reflecting in those memories; I ask the Divine One to allow through those memories "the beauty of Todd's smile and humor" replace and ease his loss.

Please know, so many are grateful and have benefitted tremendously from the efforts and personal sacrifices Todd made for the United States Navy and His Country. During my three years on the Secnav Retiree Council and one trip Todd made to my home state of Hawaii, I got to know Todd very well. He was a fine man who excelled as the Navy's retiree program manager. I will miss his keen wit, counsel, and friendship.  My condolences go to his entire family who lost a great man and patriot.
