Virginia “Tiny” Dixon, of Brighton, TN, retired System Analyst for the Navy, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the age of 72. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Herron and brother in law John Herron. She is survived by her daughter Jane Dixon and her grandchildren Benjamin Cummings and Ainsley Layne. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 6pm with a memorial service to follow on Friday, June 3, 2016, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bancorp South (Attn: Jane E. Dixon), 8146 US Hwy 51 N P.O. Box 189, Millington, TN 38053 to assist her family during this difficult time.
