Walker Edward "Ed" Johnston, age 63, of Memphis, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born May 4, 1958 to the late Walker and Margaret Johnston of Memphis. Ed worked most of his life in the Lumber industry.He was a much loved husband, father and “E” to his grandchildren and brother and a wonderful son in love to Nana.
He is survived by his wife, Leticia Sulcer Johnston, three sons, Walker Johnston (Mindy) and Brad (Lindsay)Johnston, both residents of AR, Wyatt Johnston of Memphis; His brother Andy Johnston of Bartlett and five grandchildren: Hudson, Emmy, Sadie, Grace and Cason.
A funeral service for Ed will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a committal service. His brother in law, Pastor David Sulcer will be officiating the services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Walker's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
