William Jerry McDonald, age 68 of Germantown passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born June 7, 1945 in Winona, Mississippi to the late Arthur Lee McDonald, and the late Joyce Weatherall Miller. He graduated from Memphis Technical High School, and went to William R. Moore Technical School. He worked for Pepperite Printing for over 30 years, and was a knife maker. Jerry was a member of the Knife Makers Guild, Memphis Sports Shooters Association, and was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Shirley Willis McDonald; his son, Kevin McDonald; his granddaughter, Adriana McDonald; two brothers, Johnnie McDonald (Janice), and Charles “Barney” Miller (Chrissie). The family will receive friends at St. George’s Episcopal Church Saturday, August 24 from 12:30-2 PM. Funeral services will follow Saturday, 2 PM at the church. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Trinity Hospice.
