William “Tommy” Carlisle, 71, of Bartlett, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian Carlisle and his siblings, Barbara Stovall and Aubrey Carlisle. Mr. Carlisle is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pearl Carlisle, his children Shawn Carlisle (Kellie) and Brian Carlisle (Melinda), his grandchildren, Kelsey Carlisle, Austin Carlisle, Blake Carlisle, Shane Carlisle, and Cody Carlisle, and his brother, George Carlisle (Brenda). Mr. Carlisle graduated from Southside High School in 1959 and was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Arlington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Arlington Building Fund. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. and a funeral on Thursday at 10am also at the funeral home.
