Allene Rosenblad

Allene Rosenblad, 63, of Bartlett, TX passed away January 3rd 2013 at her home. Allene was born April 13th, 1949 to Allen and Eloise Johnson of Austin, TX. From an early age she demonstrated a love of music; first playing the piano and then the organ. By the age of 16 she was playing for weddings and was the organist for her home church.

She married her ‘Soul Mate’ on June 10, 1967. She was the proud mother of two and even prouder grandmother of eight. She will be remembered for her hospitality, her generosity, her concern for others and her ferocious loyalty. Those she loved she loved for life!

Her parents and her husband, Clyde Rosenblad of Rockdale, TX preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Tommy Rosenblad and her daughter Lori Griffin, both of Bartlett, TX. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Samuel, Morgan, and Caleb Rosenblad (all of Bartlett, TX), Christian and Stassney Davis (both of Rockdale, TX), Gabriella, Grace, and Casey Jr. Griffin (all of Bartlett, TX).

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8th 2013, at Goodnight Funeral Home of Bartlett, TX from 6 to 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 9th 2013, at First Baptist Church of Bartlett, TX at 10am.

Allene Rosenblad will be laid to rest in Liberty Hill Cemetery of Liberty Hill, TX.
