Shirley Moeller

Shirley Ann Moeller, 78, left this life on Saturday, May 4th to begin her eternal life among God’s other angels. She was born on December 9, 1934 to Clyde and Jean House as the first of three children. Shirley grew up in Bartlett and graduated from Bartlett High School. She married, Fred H Moeller, Jr. on June 26, 1954 and committed her life’s work to being a good wife and mother, raising two children, Carmen and Craig.

Shirley worked at the Social Security Administration in Temple and also worked for many years at the First Bank and Trust of Bartlett. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bartlett.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Fred, by her parents, Clyde and Jean, her brother Billy Clyde and her sister, Doris Jean (Polly). She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Massey and husband Steve of Plano, TX and by her son, Craig of Bartlett. In addition, she is survived by two grandchildren, Cara Massey of New York City, NY and Jacob Massey of Houston, TX.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 6th from 6-8pm at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett. Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 7th at the Bartlett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the National Arthritis Foundation or the First United Methodist Church of Bartlett.
