

Angela “Angie” S. Brown Woodson, 37, of Lewistown, Illinois, formerly of Bartonville, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Richard Owens Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 12, 1980 in Peoria to James A. and Debra (Graber) Seibert Brown. She married Joshua M. Woodson on March 10, 2006 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2009 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents and one cousin.
She is survived by her mother, Debra (Mike) Seibert and her father, James A. Brown all of Peoria; three children, Addelyn and Baylie Woodson and Christopher Dyken; one sister, Amie Brown; her soul mate, Stevie Brandt Jr.; two step brothers, Ty (Becki) Seibert and Shawn (Julie) Seibert and one step sister, Laurie Dean; and her grandmother, Arlene Graber. She has many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a graduate of Limestone High School. She loved her family, especially her children and was very active with them in school and home. Angie was a very caring person, always assisting others. She loved taking care of “Tina” the llama and her sheep at home. Angie enjoyed reading, shopping and watching NASCAR and rooting for her favorite driver, Denny Hamlin. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cub fan. Angie enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and spending time on the beach.
A celebration of life service will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Craig Hislope will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorials may be made to the Angie Woodson Children’s Fund at CEFCU.
