Anthony Alvin Trunk, age 88, of Bartonville, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on July 15, 1934 in Peoria to Anthony and Florence (Gudat) Trunk. He married Constance Carlock on August 5, 1956 in San Diego, California; she survives.
He is also survived by his children, Dale (Lynn Carter) Trunk, Bret (Jenny) Trunk, and Kimberly (Michael) Gruber; grandchildren, Devin Gruber, Shelby (Ryant) Lambie, Tiereny (Brian) Minassian, and Tanner (Brook) Trunk; ten great-grandchildren; brother in-law, George Parlier; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Marilyn Parlier.
Anthony worked as an installer for 35 years at AT&T before retiring in 1990. He served in the Navy for 4 years and the Coast Guard for 16 years. He was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, woodworking, golfing, fishing, and hunting.
A funeral service for Anthony will occur on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Christ Lutheran Church, 2020 West Malone Street in Peoria. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
