

Atticus was born on January 4, 2001 in Gibson City, Illinois. He was the first-born son of Kris and Ginger Adams of Peoria, Illinois. He loved to play video games, fish, and watch TV. He loved his grandparents, Mary Ann and Karl Gottlieb and was a frequent presence in their lives.
Atticus died because he used drugs. He was an addict who was always chasing a high. That chase finally killed him.
He leaves behind his brothers, Aragorn, Hawkeye, and Caspian.
Surviving family members include paternal grandparents, Jim and Emily Adams; maternal grandparents, Karl and Mary Ann Gottlieb; great-aunt, Laurie Ann (John) Curtin; great-aunt, Cheryl (Dan) Flood; aunt, Kathy (Tom) Taylor; aunt, Kara (Carl) Guerry; uncle, Kurt (Bethany) Gottlieb; and many cousins.

Atticus's memorial mass will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Peoria. Fr. Jeremy Freehill will officiate. His memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also on Thursday at the church. Inurnment will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria.
