

Chris was born on September 8, 1978 in Peoria, IL to Collin and Sharlene (Stubbs) Cochran.
Surviving are his parents, Collin and Sharlene Cochran of Mapleton, IL; his sister, Lori (Marty) Mahr of Pekin, IL; his brother, Adam (Chrissy) Cochran of Bartonville, IL; his grandfather, Homer Stubbs of Morton, IL; three nieces and two nephews; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother.
Chris graduated from Illini Bluffs High School. While in high school he worked as a cook for Gil’s in Hanna City. He was also known for his artistic talent. Chris also worked for Morton Metalcraft before starting his own business restoring and selling Mustang parts. He was known for his attention to detail and the quality of his work; he truly had a passion for Mustang cars. Chris also enjoyed going to car shows.
Chris loved his family and those people who were close to him and wished the best for his family. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2pm to 3:30pm at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The family requests that those attending please wear casual dress attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
