

Doris R. Ingram, 78, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 6, 1937 in Gibson City, Illinois to Hugh and Rova (Richardson) Hislope. She married Richard H. Ingram on May 5, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois. He survives.
She is survived by three children, Pamela Ingram of Cape Neddick, Maine, Teresa (Mike) McKeighan of Pekin, Illinois and Timothy (Nina) Ingram of Bel Aire, Maryland. She has four grandchildren, Matthew Hagen of Houston, Texas, Benjamin Hagen of Peoria, Illinois, Eric and Bethany Ingram of Bel Aire, Maryland; three step grandchildren, Megan (Alicia) McKeighan, Ryan and Allison McKeighan; and one step great grandson, Dean McKeighan. Doris has one sister, Ina Hageman of Bartonville, Illinois, two brothers, Dwain Hislope of Dahinda, Illinois and Robert Hislope of Peoria, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ed Hislope.
She was a graduate of Limestone Community High School. She retired from CILCO and Szolds, where she was employed with many secretarial responsibilities. She was a member of the Timberlake Club and a former member of the Bartonville Femmes Unir Club. Her natural, sharp, homespun sense of humor and adages will be remembered fondly and are among many other cherished memories. She loved golfing, playing cards and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church of Bartonville.
A funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bartonville. Father David Heinz will officiate. A visitation will be on Sunday from 4PM until 6 PM at the church and 30 minutes prior to services on Monday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 5:45 PM on Sunday at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following services and inurnment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria at a later date. The Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
