

Edna Jean McMullen, 90, of Hanna City, passed away at home on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born on April 28, 1935, in Laura, IL, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Amy (Huber) Feeser. On May 12, 1956, she married Gerald "Jerry" McMullen. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Jerry passed on December 8, 2006.
One of five children, Edna was preceded in death by sisters, Audrey (Delmar) Sutton, and Wanda (Calvin) Balzell; brother, Walter Feeser; and brother-in-law, James Engelbrecht. She is survived by her sister, Mary Englebrecht; and sister-in-law, Tammy Feeser. Edna also appreciated the love and support of Jerry's brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda McMullen; and sister-in-law, Donna McMullen.
Although they had no children, Edna and Jerry deeply loved all of their nieces, nephews, and all the "greats" and "great-greats" that came with increased family. Their home was open to all family members and friends of the family too.
Edna and Jerry spent their years traveling, especially enjoying nature. Edna carried on their tradition by feeding "her" birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc. She greatly loved eagle watching.
Edna was a member of the First Church of the Brethren of Peoria. Her pastor, Dana McNeil, will officiate her funeral service. Visitation will take place at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to her church.
