Erma Orr

Born October 12, 1925 in Lewistown, Illinois, she was the daughter of Jessie and Rose (Hagan) Lindsey.  On September 7, 1958 she married Edward Orr in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on May 3, 2009.

Erma was a homemaker, spending precious time at home raising her children. She was a former member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria, reaffirming her faith in God by serving as a deacon for the church for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice R. Orr, and Kellie J. Ferconio, both of Orland Park; two grandchildren, Alexander Ferconio(Katie Delair), and Lindsey Ferconio, both of Orland Park; one great- grandson, Liam Ferconio; and one sister, Irene Knepp, and her husband Thelburn, of Peoria.

Besides her husband, Erma was preceded in death by four brothers, and two sisters.

The funeral service for Erma will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel in Bartonville.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.  Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.

A memorial has been established for the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
