He was born February 4, 1958, in Peoria, to Orrin and June (Cunningham) Castle. He married Lorelei Ford November 17, 1990, in Peoria.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years; daughters, Sierra (Si Si), and Kiley (Ki); beloved pets, Shiloh, Simba, and Stitch; uncle, Glen Cunningham; and numerous cousins.
Gary was retired from Caterpillar after a career of 30 years, and had recently been employed part-time by Hy-Vee. He was a member of George Washington Lodge #222 in Chillicothe since the age of 18. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching the eagles along the riverfront, and most of all, being a girl dad to Si Si and Kiley.
Gary’s favorite saying was “I love you”, and he always said it with a smile.
