Bartonville – Harold B. Moore, 89, of Bartonville, IL passed away March 15, 2015 at Fondulac Woods Nursing Home in East Peoria, IL. He was born June 19, 1925 in Cerro Gordo, IL to Orville and Ethel (Lesher) Moore. Surviving is his daughter Jo Anne Bitner of Bartonville, IL, his son Steven (Karen) Moore of Peoria Heights, IL, and two grandchildren: Emily and Evan Moore.
Harold worked for Caterpillar as an assembler for twenty seven and a half years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the guard unit for Tokyo Rose. Harold was a musician playing lead guitar in a band and later for numerous nursing homes in the Peoria area. Harold was also an avid dog lover. He loved to spend time and take care of his dogs.
