James E. Humphrey Jr., 62, of Liverpool, Illinois, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Renaissance Care Center in Canton, Illinois. He was born on November 18, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois to James E. and Joyce (Montee) Humphrey Sr. They survive.
Also surviving are two children; four step-children; eleven grandchildren; three sisters, Linda (Pat) Prescott, Brenda Pluskwik, Dianna (Dave) Diefendorf and one sister in law, Becky Humphrey. He has many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry.
He was a construction worker working out of Local Unions 165 and 231. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved living in Liverpool close to the Illinois River.
A memorial gathering will be from 2 until 5pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Cremation rites have been accorded.
