Joyce Collier

She was born Aug. 15, 1934 in Peoria to “Mac” and “Nellie” (Hobson) McKinzie, whom preceded her in death.  She married William H. Collier on July 8, 1949 in Peoria. He passed away Nov. 9, 1970 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cherry McCrimmon, one son, Ronald Jay Collier, 2 brother (Ronald and Raymond Collier) and two sisters (Vera Collier and Jackie Bryant.)

Survivors include her companion of 41yrs, Tony Whitehurst of Sparland, three daughters: Raelene (Darrell) Barton of Peoria, Joyce Collier of Indianapolis, IN, Kathy (Ron) Deffenbaugh of Sparland, three sons: William, Robin, Tony Collier all of Peoria, one son-in-law, Larry Woody of Peoria, and one daughter-in-law, Letha Keayes of Peoria, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Joyce loved spending time with family, especially the little ones. Joyce also loved her Bingo and poker machine time! 

 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Cremation will be accorded.
