She was born Jul 12, 1964 in Peoria to Bernard and Caryl (Kasebier) Petrakis. They preceded her in death along with one brother, John Petrakis.
Survivors include Tom Downing, whom she made her home with the last seven years, five sisters: Janet Patton of Bolingbrook, IL, Debra Johnigk of Chillicothe, Gloria Schooley of Princeville, Gayla (Mike) Wascher of Orlando, FL, Mari (Carl) Doubet of Hanna City, five brothers: Duane Petrakis of Peoria David (Barb) Petrakis of Bartonville, Paul Petrakis of Bartonville, Danny Petrakis of West Peoria, Pete Petrakis of Liverpool, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Sunday March 8, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
