Kathryn ( who I always knew as Gaa ) was always very kind to our family . After my father in law died she came down with two pies to our home . This was very kind and something I never forgot . I enjoyed talking with her and was always tickled with how cold she always was even when it was very hot outside . I am glad I had the opportunity to know her . Our condolences to all of the family . I only met her a couple times when Glenna and I were in high school, but of those couple of times, Mrs. Barnes was always sweet, pleasant, and kind. My condolences to all who are feeling her loss. Prayers and hugs to you all

Where do I start? What a wonderful woman! Kathryn helped the Pillman family at a much needed time. She and Glen were life long friends of our parents and I can hear her soft sweet voice as if she’s right here. She always made it a tradition to deliver Dad a lemon pie on Christmas morning and they’d stop once in awhile for a visit with mom and dad. There’s a lot of memories I’ll hold close in my heart of Kathryn. Fly high and give everyone a hug for me! Love you💗
