Kenneth "Kenny" Quick

Kenneth L. ‘Kenny’Quick,71, of Hanna City, Illinois, passed away Wednesday evening October 28, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 27, 1943 in Peoria, Illinois to Clarence and Margaret (Kruse) Quick. He married Betty Largent on January 19, 1963 in Hanna City, Illinois. She survives.

He is also survived by three children, Kathy (Jay) Williamson of Hanna City, Illinois, Roger (Gina) Quick and Cindy (Bruce) Mayer both of Mapleton, Illinois. He has five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Joshua Quick, Matthew Williamson, Tyler and Kayla Mayer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Robert Quick and one sister, Linda Hamilton.

Kenny worked at various occupations at the P&PU Railroad, Peoria Stockyards, Wilbert Vault Company and Coca Cola Bottling Company. He retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 1996 after working 30 years. He was a past member of the Hanna City Sportsman’s Club, Various Saddle Clubs and the Peoria County Sheriff’s Posse and the Farmington Moose Lodge. He attended St. Peter Lutheran Church in Glasford, Illinois.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Harlan Kaden will officiate. Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Friday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Smithville Cemetery in Smithville.
