Lawrence E. "Larry" Thomason Sr.

He was born on May 29, 1940 in Peoria to James E. and Mabel C. Wall Thomason.

Larry married Carol R. Kendall on September 6, 1959. She preceded him in death in 2007.

Larry was employed at Keystone Wire and Steel for twenty-eight years, retiring in 1986.

He is survived by his children: Larry E. (Cathi) Thomason of Mapleton, Rhonda (Greg) Weynand and James E. (Kathy) Thomason, both of Bartonville; fifteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; his sister: Barbara (Ernest “Ernie”) Kellerstrass of Beaver Creek, OH; five nieces and four nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Atterberry.

Funeral services for Larry will be at 1:00 P.M.Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with Jerry Simpson officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior.

Entombment will be in Springdale Cemetery Mausoleum.

Larry’s family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association, Greater Midwest Affiliate, Memorials and Tributes Lockbox, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674; The Susan G.
