Lucille E Aylward Lauterbach

She was born May 27, 1919 in Peoria, IL to James and Elizabeth (Herring) Aylward. She married Delmar L. Lauterbach on June 15, 1946 in Bartonville, IL. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2009 in Peoria. Her parents, four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving is one son, Stanley (Genevieve) Lauterbach of Bartonville, one daughter, Valerie Lauterbach of Chicago, IL, four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Garrison and Zachary and Andrew Lauterbach.

Lucille was a 1937 graduate of Manual Training High School and remained active in the Alumni Reunions. She worked at Altorfer Brothers during World War II, making munitions to support the war effort and was a devoted wife and mother who cared dearly for her family.

A funeral service will be Monday, November 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Father Larry Zurek will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
