She was born March 4, 1949 in Streator, IL to Stanford and Dorothy (Frye) Rickey. She married William Atkinson on Jan. 19, 1967 in Peoria. He passed away on June 9, 2005 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three sons: Thomas (Candy) Atkinson of Peoria, Clint Atkinson of Bartonville, Adam Atkinson of Bartonville, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
