

Marjean Adolphine Gabelhausen, 87, of Peoria, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1937 in Peoria, a daughter of Alfred Joel and Bernice Martha (Allen) Harmegnies. Marjean married William G. Gabelhausen, Sr. on June 30, 1956 in Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by her three children, Crystal (Mark) Potthoff of Bartonville, Camela (Rick) Ingram of Goodfield and William G. (Robert) Gabelhausen, Jr. of Watkinsville, Georgia; four grandchildren, David Mullen, Amanda (Nick) Pauley, Joel (Emily) Ingram and Jerrod (Taylor) Ingram; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Claire, Anabelle, Savannah, Madison and Gracey; one sister, Bernice Day; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marjean was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a graduate of Manual High School.
Marjean worked as an administrative assistant for Torrington Bearing Company in Peoria for many years.
She was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in Peoria. Marjean loved to travel with her husband, was an avid golfer, and a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was devoted to her family supporting them at sporting events and other activities.
Marjean's funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in Peoria. Fr. Payton Wieland will officiate. Her visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also on Thursday at her church. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church.
