Patricia Earlene Catton

Patricia “Pat” Earlene Catton, age 73, of Mapleton, passed away on January 23, 2026, surrounded by love. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was married to her beloved husband, Michael H. Catton Sr., for 53 wonderful years, sharing a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership.

Pat worked in the school district, where she cared deeply for the students and staff and took pride in serving her community. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael H. Catton Sr.; her son, Michael H. Catton Jr.; and her cherished granddaughter, Mackenzie P. Mullens (Catton). Pat rarely missed a chance to attend Mackenzie’s sports games and was always her biggest supporter in the stands.

Pat had a love for music, especially Kenny Chesney. She also loved her dogs, shopping, and sharing simple moments with those she loved most. She especially treasured spending time with Mike, creating memories filled with laughter, companionship, and love. Pat will be remembered for her warm heart, her dedication to her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Entombment will follow the visitation at 11:30 in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
