He was born May 17, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI, to Thomas and Marilyn (George) Gales. In 1970, the family moved to Peoria and Pat graduated from Richwoods High School in 1987. He married Sara LaConte on Jan. 1, 2018 at Disney World, Orlando, Florida. She survives along with his parents of Naples FL., four step-sons: Maxwell (Breana) Callear of Bartonville, Samson Callear of Orlando, FL, Payton Callear of Bartonville, and Jett Callear of Mapleton. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren: Kain, Kaiya, Rudee, one brother, Christopher (Pam) Gales of Houston, TX, one sister, Jessica van Maanen of Ashville, NC. two nieces and two nephews.
Pat owned and operated Call-A-Tool, a small engine repair and rental shop in Peoria. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dog, Buford, working on cars, gaming, and watching his beloved Green Bay Packers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Care on Rt. 91 or Sam’s Animal Rescue in Hanna City.
