He was born July 9, 1936 in Peoria to Jim F. and Ann (Kucavik) Dunne. He married Joann Berry on April 25, 1959 in Peoria. She survives along with three children: Chris (Sara) Dunne of Palm Harbor, FL, Karen Dunne of Bartonville, B.J. (Katie) Dunne of Danville, IL, one brother, Jim Dunne of Boulder, CO, and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Patrick Dunne.
Roger worked for J.C. Dillon Plumbing in Peoria for 25 years then owned and operated Roger Dunne Plumbing in Bartonville. He was a member of the Plumbers Local 63, Timberlake Club, St Anthony Catholic Church, and was a member and past president of the South Side Business Men’s Club.
A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St Anthony Catholic Church in Bartonville. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. till service time at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Memorials may be made to St Anthony Church or Timberlake Club.
