Roger Lee Rebbec

Roger L. Rebbec, 83, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria, Illinois surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 1, 1935 in Bartonville, Illinois to Michael and Rozena (Freres) Rebbec. He married Norma Fitzgerald on October 27, 1957 in Bartonville.

He is survived by two children, Brent (Karen) Rebbec of Mapleton, Lisa (Ron) Jaegle of Peoria; three grandchildren, Dirk Jaegle, Nicole and Brandon Rebbec. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Raymond, William and Robert Rebbec, Marie Schriner and Edward Rebbec.

Roger worked at Broderick and Bascom Company from 1955 to 1980 and later worked out of Local Union #183 as a carpenter, from 1980 until 1992. He was former member of the Bartonville Lions Club. He was a member of the Bartonville American Legion Post #979. Roger was an avid hunter and fisherman loving the outdoors.
