

He was born on March 16, 1944 in Peoria, IL to Rolla and Lydia (Janssen) Miller Sr. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sister, Marianne Patton and half-brother, Robert Miller.
Surviving are his four children, Angela (Ronald) Thompson of Bartonville, Scott (Heather) Miller, Becky (Shane) Sennett, and Brad (Tiffany) Miller all of Havana. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, a great-granddaughter on the way; and a sister, Charlene Fisher.
Rolla served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received his Bachelor’s degree in Science from Bradley University. He worked at T-Square for several years making frames and matting for pictures and then as a Plant Engineer with Bemis Bag until retiring.
Rolla enjoyed carpentry, gardening, reading, puzzles and bee keeping. He was an avid bowler and was a member of several Peoria Area Bowling teams. One of Rolla’s greatest joy’s was spending time with his family and friends.
Cremation will be accorded and open house will be at Bartonville Christian Church on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 4 to 6 pm. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
