Tim married Denise Wood on December 1, 1979, she survives. Also surviving are his two beloved daughters, Tabitha (Garrick) Reid of Morton, IL and Abigail Segal of Bartonville, IL; three treasured grandchildren, Bennett, Easton and Nora Reid; his brother Rusty (Pam) Segal; his father Russell (Pat Carter) Segal and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents; William and Dorothy Glass and Russell and Verla Segal.
He was a Sheet Metal worker at Local #1 for over 30 years, last working for J.A. Fritch.
You could always find Tim at the softball field watching his daughters play as they grew up. Tim also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. If you knew Tim, you knew he loved music and candy bars. He was best at winning concert tickets and enjoyed every show he attended. He kept every concert ticket stub, displaying them proudly at his home. Who else can say they saw Aerosmith for $5 and Pink Floyd for $4? He would joke "I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands". And our apologies to Hershey for the drop in sales. That man loved chocolate, the Trick or Treat candy was never safe.
A celebration of life gathering will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9am until 12pm at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel and a sharing of special moments will be at noon. Cremation rites will follow. Memorials may be made to the Limbs Up Crew. You may create an online condolence at www.davison-fultonbartonvillechapel.com.
