William "Bill" "Pete" G. Pedersen

He was born February 5, 1928 in Omaha, NE to Wilbur and Ruth (Bumwert) Pedersen. He married Doris Eileen Monroe on April 16, 1949 in Peoria. She died February 3, 2003 in Peoria.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Gene, sisters Marie and Mary, and granddaughter Stephanie.

He is survived by his four daughters Shirley (Charles) Murphy of Bartonville, Cynthia Pedersen of Bartonville, Bobbi Schmidgall of Peoria, Lori (Wayne) Jones of Peoria; one brother Bob (Mickey) Allen of Ventura, CA; eight grandchildren, Renee, Angel, DeWayne, Matthew, Kara, William, Tyler, Ashley; three great-grandchildren, Breanna, Dawson, and Alyvia; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill worked for Caterpillar for 42 years retiring in the inventory control department. He was a man who touched many lives. His family was very important to him and loved spending time with them more than anything. He was deeply loved and will truly be missed.

He formerly attended St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Rev. Michael Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M., Thursday, at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
