

Bevoline Webb Sigmon-Jones, 82, of Bassett, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Franklin Health Care in Rocky Mount. She was born in Franklin Co. on November 20, 1927 to the late Jesse Webb and Mae Hale Webb. She was retired after forty eight years working as a Filling Operator for Fieldcrest Mills, an avid cake decorator and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy L. and Coy L. Webb, Junus C. Webb and Donnie Webb and one grandchild, Jason Hubbard.
Surviving are her husband, Brady Jones of the home, two daughters, Betty S. Hubbard of Rocky Mount; Pat S. Conrad of Martinsville; one step-daughter, Kelly Barker of Bassett; two sons, Omedel Junior Sigmon of Bassett; and Michael A. Sigmon of Buchanan; one step-son, Gregory W. Jones of Penhook; one sister, Elaine W. Horne of Chadbourn, NC; six grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 in the Collins-McKee-Stone Bassett Chapel with Reverend Grover Gwynn officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the Collins-McKee-Stone, Bassett chapel beginning at 1p.m. and other times at the home of her husband, at 45 Badger Road, Fieldale.
