Brenda was born on June 26, 1950 in Carroll County, Virginia to Charlie Alfred Cox and Fairy Lucille Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Stewart and two brothers, Bill and Mike Cox.
Brenda was a member of Westover Church in Greensboro, N.C. She loved to travel, listening to oldies but goodies music and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Brenda is survived by two daughters, Angie Schiavone (Scott) of Prospect, Kentucky, Amanda “Mandy” Stovall (Steven) of Cary, North Carolina, one sister, Joyce Owens of Roanoke, Virginia, three grandchildren; Andy Turbyfill, Stella Stovall and Rhyker Stovall, two great granddaughters, Laura and Maylee Turbyfill.
A Memorial Service will be at a later date.
