Carolyn Inman Lawson, 72, of Collinsville, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Pittsylvania County, February 14, 1942 to Gordon Henry Inman and Elizabeth Marie Smith Inman, both deceased. She was a self-employed beautician (Carolyn’s Beauty Shop).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Nash Gordon Lawson.
Surviving are her husband, Nash (Mutt) Lawson of the home; a daughter, Karen Elizabeth (Libby) Ray of Fieldale; one sister, Connie I. Barker and husband, Frank of Fieldale, one brother, John Caleb Inman and wife, Janice of Fieldale.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Fieldale United Methodist Church.
