Mary Frances Burke

Mrs. Burke was born on July 13, 1938 in Ingleside, W. Virginia, a daughter of the late Roy Lee Holliday and the late Gertrude Agnes Blankenship Holliday. She had lived most of her life in Danville where worked in Residential Cleaning .She was the last survivor of her generation. She was married to Homer Benjamin Burke, Sr. who predeceased her.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob Flinchum, a daughter-in-law, Susan Hall, one sister, Helen Gibbons, five brothers, Fitzhugh, Lee, Curtis, Bobby and Gilbert Holliday.

She is survived by two daughters, Lori Burke and friend, Bruce, Deborah Watson and husband, Chris, four sons, Doug Hall and friend Ronda, Darrell Hall and wife, Kathy, Homer B. Burke, Jr. and Paul Burke and wife Lisa. Eighteen Grandchildren and thirty four Great Grandchildren,

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Aaron and Rev. Wayne Aaron officiating. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
