Patsy Belcher Whitlow

. Born in Franklin County, April 20, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Emmett Belcher and Leone Williams Belcher. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 61 years, Robert Kenneth Whitlow.

She retired from DuPont after 30 years of service. An avid gardener she was also a very active member of Stone Memorial Christian Church where she served as Sunday School Treasurer.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Petrone and her husband John of Woodbridge, her son, Bobby Whitlow of Goose Creek, SC, three sisters, Dorothy Law and Linda Oliver both of Salem, and Sharon Campion of the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area, her brother, Wayne Belcher of Franklin County, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Pastor Tim Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Stone Memorial Christian Church, 3030 Virginia Ave., Collinsville, VA 24078.
